Go my people, into your rooms and shut the doors behind you
Hide yourselves for a little while, until His wrath has passed by.
You see, the Lord is going to the lay waste the earth, He'll devastate it... and ruin its face. The earth is broken - up. It's split asunder - realin' like a drunkard.
This is a song of salvation, redemption, for Zion - Wake up, Wake up!
The seed had to to die, but He's now come alive, rise from the dust - don't believe in the lie.
Look at the feet of the one on the hillside, there's peace in His eyes, but a sword on His side.
He's gonna break the slave chains off of your neck.
The New Jerusalem's gonna hold a place of respect and we'll sing...

For those whose spirits are contrite and humble

We were only friends that year, but I was wanting more my dear. But God has His time, and it's different than mine.
Well that's the way our story starts, it took some time to earn your heart, 'cause God has His time, and it all seemed right.
Yeah it all seemed right. I was dreamin' of you by my side. I couldn't help but love you. Then one night, you said... you loved me to.
And now my life would never be the same, 'cause you agreed to take my name. With flowers in your hair, I'd chase you anywhere. Mmm, mmm.
A new chapter in our story book, you're givin' me that funny look. 'Cause one and one makes three, but it all seemed right to me.
Yeah it all seemed right. We'd made a family, just you and I. But trustin' God to lead, and then in time, we grew...

I wonder what my friend is seeing now, above the clouds.
